How do i shave, im getting facial hair. and i have no idea.?

im a teenage guy. and im getting some pretty noticable peach fuzz. how do i shave? please dont say ask your dad.

i know basically any guy out there can answer this. its an easy ten points, thanks guy! neroHow do i shave, im getting facial hair. and i have no idea.?
The best way to shave is the following...

-Get a hot towel, and put it on the area where you want to shave. This will release pores from your body to give your skin a smoother surface to shave on. You shave on dry skin expect bleeding. Leave on for 2 minutes.

-Apply shaving cream where you will shave.

-Shave down, for it will be easier to shave when you go upwards

-Shave upwards to get any remaining hairs, and to get a smoother result.

-If needed, shave sideways as well. This step is if your hairs go sideways, and shaving up or down won't get that piece of hair that goes sideways.

-Rinse your face to get out any hairs that stick to your face.

-Apply cream to your face to keep your skin moist. Aftershave will burn your skin.

Remember not to push too hard on the razor. Pushing hard will result in bumps on your skin, and possible cuts. Try doing steps 3-5 twice to get best results. Clean your razor everytime you shave to get all the hairs, and to get better shaving results.

In terms of what razors to use, you don't need the Schick or Gillette 10,000 blades. Even a single razor will get the job done. How do i shave, im getting facial hair. and i have no idea.?
Okay, I'm not a guy, but since females shave too (their legs), there's no reason for me to NOT answer your question. Also, growing up I was very much a tomboy and was fascinated with watching my dad shave. My parents indulged my tomboy ways and bought me these fake plastic razors. I used to put shaving cream on my face and ';shave'; my face just like my dad. As an adult, if I were a guy, I know I could shave my own face properly.

Having said that, here's the thing:

a) Shaving is something that most people just kind of teach themselves how to do. There is no ';one way'; to do it, because what works for some people doesn't work for others. Everyone's skin is different and has different sensitivities and everyone's hair grows in different directions. It just takes practice to learn what works best for your particular skin and facial hair.

b) As far as being taught how to shave, it's something that is best shown in person. If no dad, find another older guy to shave in front of you and let him explain the steps as you watch. Do you have any older brothers, uncles, cousins, friends, etc?

c) In the meantime, here are a couple of sites with simple directions:

Good luck! It's fun when you first start doing it as a teenager, then it just becomes an annoying necessity. As guys grow older, they get sick of doing it and many even come to hate it. Enjoy it while it's ';new';.
-get some shaving cream and a razor

-use a warm cloth or splash your face with some warm water to open your pores

-lather the shaving cream onto the area you're shaving

-place the blade flush with the skin and drag down(don't push!)

-shave with the grain of your hair to reduce razor burn

-rinse and you're done!
take shaving cream and spread it on the area you wish to save. then with a razor(electric or not it really doesn't matter) run it across the area that is needing to be shaved, be sure to clean out the razor after every couple of strokes with hot water, then wash off excess shaving cream off the face with water and your done.
