Something that is very simple, with home ingredients for soft, clear skin because store bought facials make my skin very dry...please and thank you! :DCan someone give me a recipe for a simple facial scrub?
Hey Pusd842399,
I know ya just asked for facial but now ya gotta a 3 for 1 deal ! Hope it helps ya out hun! :)
Gretta's Spa Treatments
Facial Masque
1 cucumber
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 egg white
1 Tbsp plain yogurt
2 Tbsp powdered milk
1 Tbsp honey
Blend all ingredients together in food processor. For a two-in-one masque plus exfoliating treatment, add in oatmeal.
Gretta's tip: ';After the masque, pat fresh orange or grapefruit juice into your skin. This will provide you with a radiant glow.';
Hair Masque
1 ripe mango
1 Tbsp plain yogurt
2 egg yolks
Blend together in food processor. Divide hair into sections and paint masque evenly onto hair.
Coconut Foot Treatment
1 tsp honey
2 Tbsp sliced almonds
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 lemon, cut in half
Coarse salt or coarse raw sugar
In a small bowl, combine the honey, almonds and milk. Pour the mixture into a bowl large enough to soak both feet and add hot water. Soak your feet for a few minutes to get them soft, then dip the lemon halves in the salt or sugar and rub them on your feet to exfoliate. Soak your feet for 10 minutes more, and then pat them dry with a towel.

1 C Sugar(as an exfoliant)
1 tsp lemon juice(as an acne control)
and 1/4 C Pomegranate juice(as a moisturizer)
This really depends on your skin type. Seeing as the store ones make your skin dry I am going to bet that you don't suffer from oily skin. Here are some recipes that cater to combination and dry skin types:
Dry Skin:
Mix together 1/4 an advocado and 2 table spoons of honey and apply to face for 15 minutes. Rinse off with a face cloth and water
Combination:
Mix together 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of natural yoghurt. Apply to face and leave 15 minutes. Rinse.
raw honey + sugar = great scrub!
Honey has both moisturizing and antibacterial properties and sugar is pretty gentle as long as you don't rub too hard! I'm pretty sure brown or white sugar is fine. I've used both.
Have you thought of just plain ole soap. Dove? it has moisterizers..
Add to yoghurt some salt and olive oil.i luv it and it works.
To make it richer add some honey....i don't like, but some ppl do
brown sugar and a little bit of salt. olive oil to mix and aloe vera for your skin
its EXCELLENT!!
honey and brown sugar or oatmeal and yogurt (plain)
