Does facial and/or head hair grow faster in the summer or winter?

Again, my mom wants to know. This is better than sifting through billions of pages on google. :Does facial and/or head hair grow faster in the summer or winter?

Hair grows faster in spring and summer. its because we drink and eat healthy junk. and then the hair says hey this stuff is good lets grow.
Im gonna say winter because i know for a fact that when you get goosebumps cuz your cold that means that your hair grows a little bit
It grows faster in summer because we drink more water, and blood flow to the scalp is increased.
I don't know why, but I have heard by many hairdressers, that hair grows faster in the Summertime.
it actually grows fastest ALL THE TIME! geez.
the heat speeds up the process of the production of the hair and nails. I am not sure what rate they grow at though it probably can't be very much though. I am also lazy and oppose sifting though the Internet :]
